Bite and Face Correction Orthognathic Case
Patient with open bite, narrow upper jaw and slight facial assymetry.
47 year old female presents to corrective jaw surgery consultation with chief complaint, “I have pain in my right jaw and I want to fix my bite so I can chew. I have difficulty chewing and I can not bite food.” The patient was referred by her orthodontist for evaluation for surgical correction of Class III malocclusion. Her diagnosis was mandibular asymmetry, maxillary hypoplasia, Class III malocclusion, open bite and apertognathia.
